This year for Thanksgiving we decided we needed to be around family, so even though it was a short trip we set out for Calif to spend it with the Hammond family. Ken's parents have not spent a Thanksgiving with BOTH of their boys in 15yrs....needless to say we made his mom very happy.
It was 10hr drive but we traveled at night both ways, the boys slept almost the entire time, and it wasn't that bad. Well worth it

After our long road trip then waking up way early Alex got a "little" cranky...this is him pouting and not liking anyone....
Then of course two seconds later he fell asleep for a much needed nap.

We were at Cousin Liz and Ron's house...they set up a couple of tables out on the patio (being in Calif and all you can do that in Nov) so we had dinner out there...turned out to be perfect.
After we ate the kids learned how to play Battleship...Braxton really liked it, and he caught on pretty fast.
