Batman!!!

The super hero costume of the day!!!

BATMAN

Easter Eggs

We colored our Easter eggs, now we're all ready for the bunny to come and hide them for us!!

We didn't have Braxton which was a bummer but Alex still had fun.

And I even made Ken help, even though he kept trying to sneak away.

I bought this little dinosaur kit that I thought would be fun. Yeah they really didn't work very well but here's our attempt.

Spring Blocks

I cut and painted these blocks out last month but hadn't decorated them yet. The other night Alex found my craft bucket and wanted to do some crafts (see I swear I don't force it on him!!) So since we had all the stuff out I decided to finish  my blocks.

Alex dumped the whole container of Easter stickers out so there was no going back on making a mess. But if a pile of stickers can make a kid this happy go at it!!

My blocks!! I think they turned out cute. Alex made the little chick and flower at Mama Stef's and he was so proud that we added them to the blocks.

Super Hero

Ken and I apparently have a Super Hero as a son. We didn't realize this the first two years of his life but wow being 3yo has really brought it out in the open!!! Every chance Alex gets he's in some costume or his super hero pjs. He absolutely loves it and gets so excited!

 Pirate Robin

The other day we were getting a game out of Braxton's closet and Alex found Braxton's Buzz Lightyear costume from a few Halloweens ago. His face completely lit up and he says "MOM, WHAT IS THIS?!!!" He found gold!!!

And of course had to dress it up a little with a dirt bike chest plate.

Just look at this face!!

Had to show off the hood.

Then added the Robin mask.

He's such a character....and has so much fun!!! I just love him.

April Playdate

Playdate this month was at Mandi's house!! And boy did we have a bunch of kids this time!! Thanks Mandi for letting us take over your house.

We were suppose to have it last week but we changed the date so more of the girls could make it but funny thing is those girls still didn't show up...Jenny...MarDee...Marcie!!!! But who's naming names. LOL. Honestly we missed you guys and hope everyone can make it next time.

We had some pizza then the kids made some foamy Easter egg men. It was fun. Can't believe all those kids sat down all at once!!

Not sure but I think Jess got something in her eye...and Kennedy looks a little embarrassed about it.

Alex made a new friend David. He had a Batman shirt on so of course he was cool.

Totem and beads

I decided to turn my Easter decorations into a totem pole. Ken wasn't too keen on my idea at first but I think it turned out pretty cute.

I got some beads to the boys could make Nana a bracelet for her birthday. I know this is a little bit "girlie" but Nana is a girl!! Karsen helped them out and they had fun.

Easter Crafts

I have really gotten into crafting lately and of course I'm bringing the kids into it!! For the most part I think they are having fun with it too.

I bought two little wooden baskets at the DI for a $1.50 each then had the kids paint them.

I put some tape on for them and let them finish painting, i think they turned out pretty cute!
Set them up on my mantel with my new "home" letters I got from MarDee. I decided to spruce up my sconces and make little baskets out of them too.

I also got a couple frames at the DI for a buck each to let the kids paint. They really liked painting those...just let them go at it and see what they came up with.

Then i just printed off an easter egg coloring page from the internet and had them color it. Glued that on a piece of scrapbook paper and framed them! They turned out great!! Complete individual easter pictures made by each of the boys!!

I'm in the process of making some "spring" block letters.

I thought Alex would enjoy helping me paint them....but apparently he wasn't into it! HAHAHA

I think it had something to do with he saw the big sticker box full of easter stickers!! He had much more fun covering himself in easter eggs. And YES he's still Robin!! hahahaha

The girls got together the other day and this is what we made. LOVE them. Ken was such a trooper and cut out all the wood for us. Then just paint and glue. Really simple and fun!!!
