Park City for Father's Day

Ken wanted to spend the day in Park City for his Father's Day present. His parents were here visiting so they came along and it turned out to be a great day.

We went up to the Olympic Park and watched the skiers practicing their jumps. I had no idea this was how they practiced in the summer. Way neat.

Me and the boys.

This girl was catching some big air. She kept going off the highest jump.

Ken and Braxton heading up on the chair lift to the Zip line. If you look real close you can see them just a little bit up from the start of it.

Zoomed up a little bit on them, can see them better in this picture.

There they are coming down the zip line!! Braxton was so proud he was beating his dad!!

The end of the zip line. Brax was a trooper, he wasn't scared at all.

Me and Alex getting on the chair lift to go to the Alpine Ride. It's a little cart you sit in and go down a course like a bobsled, but of course not near as fast.

The view was amazing. We didn't get any pictures of the Alpine Ride but it was a blast.

Then of course we had to hit the candy store, that place is AMAZING!!! And look at the sign on those candies....woo woo!!!

Taking a break in the shade. Papa and Alex.

It was a great day!!! Love Park City

Founders Day Parade

Pleasant View has a Founder's Day every year. It's a whole day of lots of fun. First they start off at 6am by firing off a cannon a couple of times. They do this close to our house and the first few years living here Ken and I would jolt awake thinking we were under attack, it literally shakes the house. But now we're use to it and just roll over.

Then the parade kicks off at 10 am. This year Mama Stef and Braxton went with me and Alex, Ken had to work. We met up with my friend Marcie and her son Aiden, and my other buddy Jenna and her little buddy Talynn.

The boys getting free snow cones!!

Marcie and Aiden

Good old Smokey!!

These guys stopped right in front of us and did a little jig about face thing.

People in the parade throw candy to the kids, so of course it was the best parade ever.

Apparently Standard Examiner has a bird, hahaha, who knew.

The boys LOVED the dirt bikes.

Look at this Grandma pimping out riding the tractor. hahah, how awesome!!

My friend Hailey's aunt has mini horses and they got to walk them in the parade. She had Jessica and Kennedy help her out. So stinking cute. I just wanted to steal one of those little guys.

Jessica, Kennedy, Hailey on the right, and Jessica's sister and on the left.

After the parade they had bouncy houses set up that the boys had a blast with. If you look real close you can see little Alex sliding down the left side.

Baseball 2011

Braxton played baseball again this year, and he loves it. A lot of his games got rained out this year with our crazy weather, but he was able to get a few in.

Look at that awesome hit!!

Alex in the stands watching his brother eating Starbursts.

Good job Brax!!!

Skate Park

The boys have been loving the skate park this year. It's so cute the both really have a lot of fun.
It's 2 mins from our house and free!!

Alex kept having me put him up top then he would push his skateboard down and slide down on his butt. Those ramps are scary!!!!

Brax is a pretty good little skater. He was doing great on the halfpipe.

Born to Flip!

Alex is forever doing flips on the couch, handstands, jumping off the top of bed and doing tricks. You name it he's just all about it. So I decided Gymnastics might be something he would really enjoy. USA Gymnastics is really close to our house and they have a summer program going on so I signed Alex up. He goes twice a week for 50 min classes.

This was his first class. Right away he was all about it!!

Of course the foam pit was his favorite. She's just getting them use to not being afraid to fall in there so the teacher is letting them just jump in and have fun.

After the first class he told me the bar where he did a flip on was really scary. After the second class he was so excited and told me it wasn't scary anymore!!
