more of our Vacation

Our trip turned out to be perfect timing. It was Ken's birthday AND his cousins Art and Carrie just happened to take a weekend trip themselves and where in Laughlin too. They have an amazing boat and invited us to go out on the lake with them for the day. It was such a beautiful day.

Ken was a happy man!!

The spot we hung out for a bit.

Then wild donkeys came out of nowhere and were walking along the top of the cliff. They were so cute. I never even knew wild donkeys just roamed around, i was completely amazed.

Lake Mohave NV, it was SO beautiful

Brian (Art's and Carrie's son) and his wife Jenny. It was Brian's birthday too that weekend. After boating we went to a fabulous Italian restaurant and the waiter gave the birthday boys this wonderful ice cream sundae!!

Art and Carrie....that ice cream was SOOO good.

The gang.

We really had a great time. We can't thank these guys enough for the wonderful day we had with them.

After dinner Ken and I were off to the Poison concert to see Bret Michaels. IT WAS SOOOOOO GOOD!!! Unfortunately and sadly i didn't get any pictures. Our camera died and we had left the charger at his parents. So he will just have to stay in my memories. But he seriously rocked it, what a great show!!!

Lake Havasu! May 2011

My wonderful husband surprised me tickets to go see Poison in Laughlin NV. The reason he picked the location is it's only an hour away from his parents in Lake Havasu. So we packed everyone up and headed out!!! It was such a great trip and such great weather!!!

The London Bridge

The day we arrived was also Ken's birthday so it planned out perfect.

Ken's mom made her amazing icecream oreo cake that is pretty much the best cake on the planet!!

Braxton and Alex....so happy to be at Grandma and Papa's!!!

Me and Ken

The next day we went back down to the bridge area and the fountain was on this time!!

The boys were dying for icecream so we found a little shop and ate it by the bridge.

His parents have this spa on their back patio. It is so perfect. Turned out to be the perfect little swimming pool for the boys, they LOVED it.

Grandma and Papa got the boys each a sleeping back which turned out great...they loved them. After our 8 and a half hour drive all of us were pretty tuckered out.
