Nice day for a walk

Today was cloud covered but still a really nice fall day, Alex and I decided to talk a walk up to the park.

Right in front of our house looking up the street. So pretty. I LOVE this time of year.

Climbing up the big hill to get to the park

We made it! Alex is a climbing fool. He now can do the climbing walls with no problem.

On the way back we went a different way to go by the geese. These three geese have the set up, nice little fenced in area with a stream, trees, and rocks.

They weren't too impressed by us though and ran off to the back

my walking buddy

I made Alex pose for me, lol. He's took cute, how could i not!

We had a nice little adventure.

Braxton's Happy 8

Oct 14th Braxton turned 8yo's. Amazing how time flies and he's so big already. We are discovering quickly the older they grow the harder they are to please with birthday gifts. Braxton LOVES anything that lives in water and loves learning about it. He watches and reads all about fishing shows, nature shows, and all that good stuff so we thought getting him his first fishing pole and the goods to go along with it would be perfect. Especially now since we have the camper trailer and will be camping lots now.

First cleaning kit for when he catches the fish. It was so funny he opened this first and said wow he loved it and it was so awesome, then we asked him what it was and he says "i have no idea." hahaha

Opening his first tackle box filled with goods.

Opened it up and saw all the stuff we put in there....Ken's asking him if he knows what it is....he still has no idea but he's still so excited and loving it. It was so stinking funny.

Then we bring out the pole....and i think the lightbulb came on!!!

Braxton with his very first fishing pole!! He's one happy boy.

So of course to go along with this Ken and I had to buy fishing licenses and poles for us and Alex. I think we will have a great time camping and fishing as a family, can't wait.

Kangaroo Zoo!

We hadn't had a playdate in a while and decided to plan one at the Kangaroo Zoo. They built a new one in Ogden right near my work and it's not expensive at all!!

Jenny, Jessica, and Ken's mom, and I took the little ones for some jumping.

It was pretty neat in there. They had a bunch of different slides and bounce houses. The kids had such a blast.

Braxton was able to go too because it was early out day at school.

Jenna Poon and her two cousins.

Alex was so hot and sweaty, he played hard.
